The start of the year 2024 has seen a huge evolution concerning Amenesik Enterprise Cloud and the Amenesik Cloud Engine.

The Amenesik Enterprise Cloud and the underlying Amenesik Cloud Engine have been extended to offer fully automated and BEAM modelled open-standards, name-spaced KUBERNETES container deployment.

1. The Amenesik Enterprise Cloud now exposes a standard KUBERNETES Control Plane API allowing the management of :
   • Namespaces may be created, inspected, listed and deleted.
   • Pod Templatesmay be listed.
   • Secrets may be created, inspected, listed and deleted.
   • Config Maps may be created, inspected, listed and deleted.
   • Deployments, Jobs and Pods may be created, inspected, listed and deleted.
2. The production of OCI Image Manifests and associated OCI Image Indexes by the ACE TOSCA BEAM processor allows ubiquitous use of all subsequent BEAM application models for both container and virtual machine deployment alike.
3. The new KUBERNETES provisioning category allows container provisioning to be modelled and performed in BEAM documents in exactly the same manner as for virtual machine deployments.
4. The new AMENESIKGKS provisioning category allows container provisioning to be performed through the KUBERNETES Control Plane API of the Amenesik Enterprise Cloud .
5. The new AMENESIKEKS provisioning category allows container provisioning to be performed through the KUBERNETES Control Plane API of the AMAZON AWS ELASTIC KONTAINER SERVICE .
6. The COSACS end point controller has been extended to allow container provisioning to be performed by ACE on deployed virtual machine workloads.

The Amenesik Enterprise Cloud now offers a Big Data Pipeline Service
This allows the construction of fully automated data transfer between remote databases and data storage systems using the following combinations of technology and formats:

2. MySQL to PostgreSQL

4. PostgreSQL to MySQL
5. MySQL to AWS S3 CSV or PARQUET

providing an integrated solution for all your Application Configuration, Data Backup and Data Replication needs.

The Amenesik Enterprise Cloud was one of the many casualties of the OVH Data Center Fire in Strasbourg, France, on the 10th March 2021. The server on which it was hosted was totally destroyed by the fire, being located in SGB2. The automated backups that would have allowed recovery of the system were also lost in the fire. One month later, a year old backup was discovered and made available, and from this, the new Amenesik Enterprise Cloud has been rebuilt and modernized and is now operational on a UBUNTU LTS 20.04 with TLS 1.2 and 1.3.

Amenesik will be presenting the European Cloud Service Federation during the Keynote session at the GECON 2020 meeting on Wednesday the 16th Sept 2020.

The Amenesik Enterprise Cloud and its associated Amenesik Cloud Engine were designed and developed during the CompatibleOne, EASICLOUDS and Basmati projects to provide an industrial grade middle ware in support of the future European Cloud Service Federation.

This federation will allow added value European Cloud Service Providers to promote, offer and share their own individual application services through a heterogeneous federated group of application service vendors.

The middle ware, provided by Amenesik, will be responsible for the complete automation of all aspects of application service life cycle management from modelling, to deployment, scalability and maintenance.

This will be performed in conjunction with consolidated and coordinated cost and revenue sharing between the involved partners.

All activity will be governed by Service Level Agreements, engaged between the different partners, describing the nature, conditions and guarantees of the corresponding offers of service.

The new version of the Amenesik Enterprise Cloud is now online and available for use by customers.
